To laugh is to risk appearing the fool.

To expose feelings is to risk exposing our true self.
To place your ideas, your dreams, before the crowd is to risk loss.
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To live is to risk dying.
To hope is to risk despair.
To try at all is to risk failure.
But to risk, we must, because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.

I am 42 years old and single
I am self-employed in the consumer electronics repair field and I make a decent living but I'm not wealthy.
My main obsession is computers and the online world. I practically live online lately and I really love it but I would like to find the right woman to share my obsession with. I live in Bricktown , New Jersey, which is at the Jersey Shore, near Pt Pleasant. About 50 miles north of Atlantic City.
I am basically a stay at home type and I like movies and going out to eat and watching some sports on TV although I'm not as obsessed with sports as I once was. The Internet cured me of that ! :-) I enjoy going to flea markets and looking for that rare treasure .I am interested in history and watch alot of documentaries on PBS and the History Channel. I am also interested in astronomy (although I dont have a telescope anymore ) and the wonders of the universe. I am often awestruck as I stare out into a clear night sky at all those stars and wonder what's out there.My favorite thing is surfing the web though. It's fantastic !
My favorite sitcom is Jerry Seinfeld and my favorite comedian is George Carlin. I like to listen to Imus in the Morning on the radio and Rush Limbaugh in the afternoon. I keep up with the news by watching CNN alot. Lately I've been getting a good laugh watching Jerry Springer during the day. As you can see, Im around TV and Radio all the time !
I'm 5' 10" tall and weigh 195 and am in basically good health I am a smoker and I drink only on rare occasions. My beverage of choice is coffee. I drink alot of coffee !
I believe the most important factor in a good relationship is COMMUNICATION . It has always been the lack of good communication which led to the end of my past relationships. You must be able to talk to each other honestly about how you feel and arrive at a COMPROMISE so the same problem doesn't reoccur . Honesty and loyalty are also very important.
My requirements in a woman : You must be physically attractive (not necessarily a 10 but at least a 7), you must have a sense of humor and be easy going and able to communicate and compromise. That's not asking too much, is it ? Please be honest with me and yourself so we dont waste each others time. I am far from perfect and I dont expect perfection, just the desire to make a relationship work.
